Welcome from the Head

Barbara HunterSince opening in September 2002, our time in these wonderful premises has been very exciting and I am proud to be the Head Teacher of WICKHAM COURT SCHOOL.

We presently have 100 pupils between the ages of 2½ and 16 years old.

We welcome all the pupils into a happy family atmosphere, where we know they will thrive and be encouraged to fulfil their potential. Academic achievement is important but every pupil is valued as an individual, because childhood is too short and too precious to be wasted.

The pupils are prepared for the entrance examinations to grammar schools and other independent schools.

Our senior pupils are carefully monitored and have a wide area of subjects from which they choose their optional subjects in Yr.9 ready for GCSE in Yrs. 10+11.

The school encourages all pupils in every aspect of their development so that our senior pupils leave us as mature young ladies and gentleman able to cope with life and with their own vision for their future.
