Early Years Department
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide you with some more information about Wickham Court School's Early Years Department which is for children aged 2½ to 5 in our Nursery and Reception classes.
Our lovely school, just outside West Wickham town centre, on Layhams Road, is a 15th century Manor House in a quiet setting of more than five acres of secure grounds. The location is simply stunning. 
Our Early Years Department is an integral part of the wider school, offering children the opportunity to realise their potential throughout the foundation stage. We aim to develop lively and enquiring minds with a thirst for learning and fun.
We can care for your child all year round with the exception of one week at Christmas and on bank holidays. We have a very flexible approach and, in the nursery classes, we can arrange the times that suit you, costed accordingly. Every child at Wickham Court is cherished and we take great pride in the family atmosphere that exists throughout the school.
It is heart warming to see our younger pupils benefit from care and attention from the older children; the interaction is a joy to observe. Our Early Years Department is split into three small classes, each with their own main class teacher who is supported by other members of the Wickham Court teaching staff. The entire Early Years Department works very closely and joins together at certain times; for example for sports activities and play. Our facilities really are first class, but the best way for you to decide whether your child would benefit from the care and attention offered at Wickham Court Nursery is to read our prospectus and then visit us.
