Cookery and Nutrition with Mrs Moretti

Students in Years 7 and 8 have weekly cookery lessons, learning skills and nutrition for healthy eating.

This week, it was such a lovely day that we decided to prepare our food outside in the garden. We were making a Lemon and Pistacio Semifreddo, which requires careful preparation but no cooking. The students enjoyed preparing this dish and, as Mrs Harries will testify as our chief taster, the result was a most delicious dessert.
We are looking forward to teaching the Year 6 students both cookery and French when they join the Senior School.
