Trip to Rome

The Senior School students had a wonderful trip to Rome for four days

experiencing Italian culture and visiting various sites.
We explored ancient Rome when we visited the Colosseum and Palatine Hill, the home of the ancient Roman Empire.
We also visited the Vatican City, walking through St Peter’s Basilica and seeing the Sistine Chapel.
Students had the chance to walk around Rome, via the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and even making a wish at the Trevi Fountain.

The trip also gave the students the opportunity to eat proper Italian pizza and pasta, as we went to restaurants every day, even the Hard Rock Café.
I would like to thank Mrs Kendrick and Mrs Allart-Paine for all their help on the trip as their hard work made it a most enjoyable trip.
The students had an enjoyable time and we would to thank them for their excellent behaviour.
