Scholastic Book Fair
The Book Fair is now on and will be set up either in Austen Hall or in the front playground, weather permitting. Please come and browse through the wide selection of books for sale.

Coffee morning
Everyone is welcome to join us at our coffee morning on Thursday 6th May, straight after the morning drop-off, for free tea, coffee and homemade cakes.

80s Disco
Preparations for the 80s disco are now in full swing and tickets will be on sale soon. If anyone has any old lace curtains they are willing to donate to help decorate the hall, please see Elayne (Yr 5/6 rep).

Summer Dog Show
Donations
As always, PTA events would not be possible without the generosity of parents and we will soon be asking for the following donations for our Summer Dog Show:

• Jam jars filled with goodies – the jam jar tombola was a huge success at the Christmas Fair so we are again asking for imaginatively-filled jam jars.
• Hamper goodies – your class rep will give you details of the theme for your class hamper.
• Books – please bring us your unwanted books, both children’s and adults’, for our book stall.
• Teddies – soft toys of all shapes and sizes are needed for the teddy tombola. You can drop these off in the green bin set up in the front playground.
• Bottles – there will be a Mufti Day on Friday 28th May in return for bottles for the bottle tombola.

Sponsors
We are looking for sponsors for our dog show. To sponsor a class in the show costs £25 and includes an A6 advert in the programme. To sponsor the Best in Show trophy costs £50 and includes an A5 advert in the programme. The programme will be distributed to houses in the local area so if you know of any businesses that would like to take advantage of this, please do let us know.

Adverts
Adverts for the programme cost £10 for A6 and £20 for A5. Please see Lorraine (Reception rep) or Debbie (Nursery and Yr 1 rep) for further details.

Stereo or small pool table for Senior common rooms

Does anyone have a stereo or a small pool table they would be willing to donate to the Senior common rooms? Please let a member of the PTA know.

Last week’s mufti day in aid of the Haiti Appeal was a huge success with just over £300 raised. Thank you to everyone for your generosity. This will be added to the £2 per ticket sold for the Valentine’s Wine Tasting Evening.

Valentine’s Day Cake Sale
Our cake sale is on Thursday 11th February so please bring your donations of cakes and biscuits in on either Wednesday 10th or the morning of Thursday 11th. Containers will be left in Austin Hall for you to collect at the end of the day. Please also remember to give your children some pocket money if they would like to buy cakes. Prices start at 20p.

Wine Tasting Evening, Saturday 13th February, 7:30 – 10:30pm
Please buy your tickets for our Wine Tasting Evening by Tuesday 9th February. They are £12 each and can be bought from your class rep or from the office. It was a great evening last year so please don’t miss out this time!

Outdoor Classroom
We hope you have all had a chance to look at our lovely outdoor classroom that has been built in the Rose Garden. Thank you to all the parents who have supported PTA events over the last year – without you, this project would not have been possible!
