Summer Fair
Thank you to everyone who attended this years Summer Fair. There was a great atmosphere at our 'Day at the Races', attendance was higher than last year and so were takings. We made £1,100 profit for the PTA, with the sale of raffle tickets and the Food Court being particularly successful.

Organising the fair is a mammoth task and the PTA couldn't have done it without the help and support of so many families and friends. Particular thanks go to Judy Kenny who designed our Her Majbeautiful posters and flyers, Gavin Simpson who was a fantastic Master of Ceremonies, Lisa Jordan who made the hampers look so lovely, Paul Court who not only fixed the PA system but also put together all the music, Katie Douglas for her sterling effort selling raffle tickets, the dad's who sweated over the BBQ all day and actually managed to cook everything properly this time, and last, but by no means least, Her Majesty herself, Maureen Scopes who stepped in at the eleventh hour and stole the show!

The staff helpers were also invaluable and greatly appreciated. Mrs Fullager and Mrs Francis once again manned the bottle tombola and the teachers were brilliant serving drinks. Mr Fields efforts in the stocks were beyond the call of duty and Mrs Richman did a wonderful picture of a jockey for the pin the hat on the jockey stall. The success of the arena events owes everything to Mrs Martin and Mrs Daniels and all the staff looked wonderful in their Ascot finery.

We have already started to talk about this Christmas Fair, so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, do let us know !!!
