2nd June Junior Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Reminders about forthcoming events:

Westgate Beach trip is on Tuesday, 6th July.

Summer Plays. 
Wednesday/Thursday, 7th/8th July  Years 2 – 6 Summer Play ‘ Dragons’ takes place in Austen Hall starting at 7pm.  There will also be a French play, songs and poems.  Refreshments will be available at the end of each performance.

Nursery/Reception and Year 1.  Thursday, 8th July starting at 2pm in Austen Hall, children in the above classes will be entertaining their parents, grandparents and friends, followed by refreshments.

Sports Day.  Friday, 9th July will be from 9.30am until 10.30am for Nursery to Year 1.  There will be a refreshment break then Years 2 to 6 will start at 11am and finish about 12.30pm.  Parents are asking to bring a folding chair.

All children will have a picnic in the grounds and parents are invited to bring their own lunch and join us.

Nursery children who do not normally come to school on a Friday are most welcome to come and join the other Nursery children in their fun events.  Please remember to bring a packed lunch for you and your child.

Prize-Giving for Years 5/6 takes place on Tuesday, 13th July at 2pm in Austen Hall.  Parents with children I these classes are invited to join us.  After the proceedings have finished, you and your child are invited to join the staff for tea.

FINAL ASSEMBLY. Friday, 16th July at 9.30am.  We are having our end of year service at St. John’s Church, to which all parents are invited.
