Dear Parents,
Security for all children at the school is paramount and we do ask parents/carers delivering or collecting their child during the day, and those using Austen’s Club, to close the green gate behind them. Thank you.
The PTA is to be thanked for the splendid outside classroom which has been erected in the Rose Garden. We have no doubt that it will utilised a great deal once the weather is a little warmer.
The school is also highly delighted with a new 42” flat screen plasma television for the Science room which is shortly to be installed. This will be used in conjunction with a laptop and will enhance the pupils’ science curriculum. Again, we are very grateful to the PTA for purchasing this.
The school website is constantly being updated with ‘News’ i.e. Newsletters, lunch menus, forthcoming events etc. We do suggest that parents regularly ‘log-on’.
