Dear Parents,
The PTA’s Fun Dog Show last Sunday was a huge success. There were 65 dogs participating and over 400 visitors walked through the gates. Congratulations to all those involved, especially Mrs. Camilla Johnson and her Committee, as well as many other parents, teachers and pupils. It was a wonderful day, beautiful weather and a lovely atmosphere.
All children from Years 2 – 6, including some senior pupils will be participating on Monday, 28th June in the’ In-House Swimming Gala at West Wickham Pools starting at 2pm, finishing at 4pm. All children will be taken to the pools by coach. Younger siblings may be collected from school and taken to the gala.
If you have not already bought your tickets, there will be a member of staff on the door at the pools selling them. Adults £3 – children free.
Parents remember to bring your costumes/trunks for the Parents Race!
THERE WILL BE NO MORNING SWIMMING LESSON FOR YEAR 2/3.
On Friday, 2nd July at 1.30pm we have invited parents and children from local playgroups and Nurseries to come along to join us for fun and games in our garden.
Children in the Nursery, Reception and Year 1 may bring to school that day his/her favourite teddy! Parents are most welcome to come along.
A letter regarding the trip to the seaside on Tuesday, 6th July was sent out last week. Please will you kindly complete the consent form and return it with your remittance by Monday, 28th June as we need to know numbers. Parents with children in the Nursery are reminded that an adult must accompany them. If you do have a problem, speak with either Mrs. Flannery or Mrs. Smith.
Classical Concerts for Kids are putting on a Children’s classical concert of The Carnival of the Animals at St. George’s Church, High Street, Beckenham on Saturday 10th July, 2010 at 2pm.
