For our latest fundraising event at our Open House where you will be able to explore West Wickham’s hidden gem. With our expansive grounds and beautiful Tudor building you will not be disappointed!
As recorded in the Doomsday book, Wickham Court was known as Wickham Manor and was managed at that time by Adam Fitzhubert a Norman Lord and also has links with Anne Boleyn (second wife to King Henry VIII and mother to Queen Elizabeth I). Did you know, that according to legend, there are passages under the building which were believed to have led to Coney Hall Hill and Addington?
Bring all the family and come along and learn more interesting facts about our history and the local area.
Once you have completed your tour, each child (over 5’s) will receive a small souvenir (while stocks last) and we would be pleased to serve you cream tea and refreshments in one of our beautiful halls.
We look forward to seeing you!

Welcome to Wickham Court School Website
Wickham Court is an independent co-educational day school for pupils between the ages of two and a half to sixteen, nursery through to the end of Key Stage 4. It is, as you will see, a very special place.
Wickham Court School is located in West Wickham, Kent between Bromley, Croydon and not far from Keston, Biggin Hill and Hayes. The School offers a superb education in an historical and culturally rich setting.
Here, you will find energetic, happy pupils; dedicated, experienced teachers; small classes; grounds that exude history and a safe and secure environment for learning.
Our school is a place that imparts to its pupils a love of learning and a reverence for ideas. It is a place that nurtures the total person; a place that educates character as well as intellect. And most assuredly, it is a place that will never overlook what Emerson called “the genius of the individual.”
This beautiful and historically rich 15th Century Manor House provides the perfect environment for learning. Fees are exceptionally competitive and have brought independent education into the grasp of most families.
We are inspected by OFSTED and registered with the Bromley Early Years Team. You can feel secure that your children are in the best hands when you entrust them to us.
"Teachers provide pupils with a caring environment in which to learn. Good relations ensure that pupils are keen and eager to cooperate. A range of teaching strategies is used effectively, including good use of learning support assistants to keep all pupils engaged and challenged. Pupils understand the importance of respect and treating others with courtesy. They talk with pride about how they help each other and comment on the "family feel" within the school. Pupils feel well supported in preparation for their GCSE examinations."
OFSTED Report, 2010
The school is run by an experienced Principal, Head Teacher and their team with the support and security of a parent company that specialises in education.
Since the school opened in September 2002 for nursery and primary pupils, with the addition of seniors in September 2006, we have seen our pupils thrive in small classes led by dedicated, nurturing teachers.
Applications are considered throughout the year and if you would like your son or daughter to benefit from the outstanding education offered at Wickham Court, you would be most welcome to view the facilities and discuss our curriculum with Principal, Mrs Lisa Harries and Head Teacher, Mrs Barbara Hunter.
